Hey! I'm Adnan — a Senior Software Engineer and Platform Lead based in Sarajevo, Bosnia & Herzegovina. I've spent the last decade building software that has to work at scale, and leading the teams that ship it.

I started out in DevOps and infrastructure — writing CI/CD pipelines, wiring up Kubernetes clusters, and migrating databases with zero downtime. That foundation shaped how I think about software: reliability, observability, and operational simplicity are never afterthoughts.

Over time I moved into senior engineering and platform roles. At Aula Education I built public APIs used by 40,000+ students, grew an engineering team 3x in two months, and eventually took on the Team Lead role where I drove OKR adoption and cut maintenance load in half. At Carrier I led the design of an IoT telemetry platform that processes over a million devices daily, migrated a pull-based data platform to Kafka at 600k messages per second, and pioneered a multi-tenant AI platform.

I care about a few things deeply: systems that are easy to reason about, teams that can move fast without breaking things, and developer experience that doesn't make people want to quit. I work primarily in TypeScript and Golang, with a lot of time spent in AWS, Kafka, Kubernetes, and anything observability-related.

If you're building something interesting and want to talk — drop me an email.
